How it works
El Minicurso es la forma más sencilla de probar el buceo en San Andrés, Colombia, sin necesidad de certificación. Corresponde al programa oficial PADI Discovery Scuba Diving, también conocido como bautizo o bautismo de buceo.
Un instructor PADI te explica el equipo y las normas de seguridad, practicas las habilidades básicas en agua poco profunda y, cuando te sientes listo, bajan juntos al arrecife del Mar de Siete Colores. Trabajamos con un máximo de 3 personas por instructor, así que la atención es personalizada de principio a fin.
Seguridad primero: personal entrenado y calificado, oxígeno de emergencia y radio VHF marino a bordo.
You need no previous experience, just be 12 or older and complete the PADI medical self-assessment before you come. If you want to continue afterwards, you can take the Open Water course and get certified as a diver with us.
Requirements: From age 12 · PADI medical self-assessment · No flying until 18 h after diving

Do I need experience or certification for the mini course?
No. The Mini Course (PADI Discover Scuba Diving) is for people who have never dived. You practice first in shallow water with your instructor and then you go down to the reef together.
Do I need to know how to swim?
You do not need to be a swimmer; what matters is feeling comfortable in the water to enjoy the activity.
From what age can I do the Mini Course?
From age 12. All participants complete the PADI medical self-assessment before diving.
What if I have a medical condition?
Before you come you complete the PADI medical self-assessment. If any answer requires review, you will need a doctor’s clearance before diving.
How long should I wait to fly after diving?
We recommend not flying until 18 hours after your dive.
How long does the Mini Course last?
Schedule: 12:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., with about 35 minutes of diving.
